This was the only book that I wanted initially that I managed to purchase. Would have to continue looking for the other books that I want. But, how many $50 must I have to buy all the books I want? >< Saw the preview of this book online and thought I would never be able to get it. Fortunately enough I saw it at BOOKPOINT located at Bras Basah Complex which is famous for housing a collection of stores that sells second hand books! Why do I like second hand books? I am not very rich and I have been buying things I want with my own money. I am only interested in the content not the look of the book! So i would love to save as much as possible. I got this book at $14.80, 20% discount! I wanted to purchase Ad Hoc at home too, even though they asked me to name a price after I still refused to buy when they gave me 20%. But after any kind of realistic discount I still would not afford so I told them it's okay :) The staff there were very friendly, efficient and helpful.
Bought this at Kinokuniya after standing at the bookshelves of cookery books. I bought this at $12.79. Don't know why they priced the book at that price but I said keep the 1cent change.. I really really want the book Rediscovering Brazilian Ingredients by Alex Atala, but too expensive.. Maybe when I have more money after working the next holiday or somehow when money flies into my bank account or maybe I can buy online? That book was $80++.. The other book that I wanted to buy is Mastering Fermentation but it was also quite pricey, HAISH. Oh well, I'll see how much I have in my account when school reopens..
Bought this from Knowledge Book Centre also located at Bras Basah Complex. Was also given a 20% discount, so I purchased this at $9.60. Nothing much just wanna read about Venice and Italy about the Cheese, wine and cuisine so I thought the price was very worth it!
